Privacy

What we collect

• Hosts (DJs): your email address, used to send you a magic sign-in link. There are no passwords.
• Guests: no account and no email. Your device keeps a random anonymous ID in its own storage so you stay yourself between rounds, plus the display name shown at the party.
• Gameplay: scores, guesses, and game history, so parties work and hosts can see past games.
• Usage: basic product events (a game started, a player joined) stored in our own database, plus anonymous, cookieless page-view counts via Vercel Analytics. No ad trackers, no cross-site tracking.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
• We don't track you across other sites.
• We don't send marketing email without asking first.

Music previews

Song clips are official 30-second previews streamed from Apple Music / iTunes (with a Deezer fallback). When a clip plays on the DJ's device, that request goes to their servers under their terms, like any streamed media.

Deleting your data

Email hello@popline.live from your sign-in address and we'll delete your account and its data. Guests can clear their device's site storage at any time.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with a new date at the top.
